Let Me (Re-)Introduce Myself :)

My name is Si-Fu Julian Hitch, and I am a Master of the beautiful art of Wing Tsun Kung Fu. I started training at 15, began teaching at 17, and by 18, I was teaching full-time. Over the years, Wing Tsun has taken me across the world—from performing in China to teaching in the Middle East and the US.

But more than that, it has given me the privilege of witnessing profound transformations in my students. Just yesterday, a student shared a conversation with his sister, who had trained with me nearly a decade ago for a documentary we filmed. In passing, she told him, "The few months I trained at the school were the happiest time of my whole life."

It’s experiences like this remind me why I do what I do. Wing Tsun is not just a martial art—it is a study of human potential, a way for each of us to unlock something deeper within ourselves. It is not about fighting, but about freedom, expression, and rediscovering the wisdom that so often gets lost in modern life.

How Can You Go Deeper?

Many students ask me, "How can I explore this further?" Over the years, I’ve worked to create different ways for people to engage—whether in person, online, or through deep study. If you feel drawn to this path, here’s how you can take the next step:

🔴 Training at the Kwoon – There is something powerful about immersing yourself in a space dedicated to mastery. That’s why we built our state-of-the-art Wing Tsun school in Bromley, South-East London, inspired by the Shaolin Temple. People have travelled from the Caribbean, Singapore, the US, New Zealand, and China to experience true Wing Tsun at its deepest level. Whether you want regular training, an intensive experience, or a one-off deep dive, the Kwoon is a place where real learning happens.

🔴 Kwoon – The Great Remembering – Many of us feel that modern life has made us forget something important—something ancient, something powerful. This is why John Vincent and I created Kwoon—not just as a learning platform, but as a way to preserve and pass on essential wisdom.

Kwoon is different from anything else out there. It is not a self-help site, a motivational platform, or a place for superficial learning. It is a home for masters dedicated to recording their life’s work—whether in Positive Psychology, Feng Shui, Tai Chi, or Wing Tsun—so that their knowledge is not lost.

Our first course is something I’ve been working on since 2010—the definitive guide to the Foundations of Wing Tsun. This is not just a collection of techniques but a blueprint for understanding the depth of this art, designed to be both comprehensive and deeply accessible.

🔴 Winning Not Fighting – When John and I worked on transforming Leon Restaurants, we didn’t rely on business theories—we used Wing Tsun principles to change the way people thought, worked, and lived. That journey became our book, Winning Not Fighting, and later, our podcast, where we interview fascinating guests and explore how these principles shape success in unexpected ways.

🔴 Kwoon Zoom – Join the Community – Every week, we hold a free, open session where I teach Wing Tsun, answer questions, and explore different aspects of Kwoon wisdom. This is a place where people from all over the world come together to train, discuss, and grow.

🔴 Blog & Writing – Over the years, I have explored Wing Tsun beyond the physical—how it connects to philosophy, psychology, and personal transformation. If you’re curious, my blog is where I share deep dives, new insights, and reflections on this journey.

🔴 Founders Coaching – For those leading businesses, navigating high-pressure roles, or simply seeking clarity, I offer a limited number of coaching places to help apply real-world wisdom to life and leadership. This is not about productivity hacks—it’s about streamlining what truly matters so you can achieve success with clarity, impact, and longevity.

This Is Just the Beginning

Whether you are completely new to Wing Tsun or have been practicing for years, there is always a next step in the journey. If you feel called to explore, you are welcome here.

Let me know your thoughts, questions, or experiences—I’d love to hear from you.
